RISE TO ADDICTION Confirmed For U.K.'s BLOODSTOCK OPEN AIR Festival
December 29, 2006British rockers RISE TO ADDICTION, who feature in their ranks former BLAZE members John Slater (guitar) and Steve Wray (guitar),have been confirmed for the 2007 edition of the Bloodstock Open Air festival, set to take place July 6-7 at Catton Hall in Derbyshire, England. Also scheduled to appear are BLIND GUARDIAN and KORPIKLAANI.
Commented Steve Wray: "We opened the main stage at the indoor [Bloodstock] event a couple of years back and the atmosphere was just awesome. Even though we were first band and it was a little early there was a real magic about that show, the audience were amazing. We can't wait for Bloodstock Open Air 2007!"
RISE TO ADDICTION recently completed work on its debut album, tentatively due in early 2007 through an as-yet-undetermined label. A total of 12 songs were laid down for the CD, which has a working title of "All Human Life". The band once again worked with Andy Sneap (MACHINE HEAD, KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, TRIVIUM),who produced last year's self-titled EP.
